Pin Of The Week: Interior

Image

   Hello my lovelies,

It's been a little while since I last posted..over the past month I've been a little busy with starting s new job. And we've also decided to start looking at houses which is super exciting so hopefully this time next year me and Josh should have our own pace. In the mean time I've already been looking at what décor I'd like and whilst have a little pinning session I came across this and just loved the shabby chic look with the pastel and hints of white along with the muted green/ blues.

I've really got back into pinterest lately so I shall be sharing my favourite pin with you each week. I've also got some ideas about doing some interior decorating post as I've loved spending the last few weeks planning décor and colour schemes.

Hope you are all have a wonderful day!

My Perfect Winter Coat

Over the past few weeks I've been looking for my new winter coat as it has got very chilly very quickly and since September was quite warm I haven't exactly prepared for these cooler months ahead, so I've been on the hunt ever since and we had an offer at work for the staff where you could get 50% of a coat. Which is a amazing offer so after work I went to go try on a fair few but nothing was catching my eye, so I popped over to Zara on my was home and spotted this beauty. And oh my I love this coat so much!

From the faux fur, to the olive green shade, to the shape, its just perfect and is super cosy. Once I tried it on I couldn't say no... Its from their TRF Range, It wasn't the cheapest but wasn't that expensive for a coat that needs to last all winter. It was £79.99 which I think is quite reasonable for a coat and I still had some money left over from my birthday so thought I'd treat myself on this.

I can't wait to wear this and feel all snug!

Hope you're all having a lovely day.

A Little Trip To: Amsterdam

Hello Lovelies,

On the 15th September me and Josh went to Amsterdam for a little birthday get away, I've always wanted to go and especially after our little stop off there before we went to Italy in May, I thought that for my 21st it was the idea city break!

We stayed at the Lloyd cultural embassy Amsterdam, the hotel is set in the Eastern Docklands Area which is about a 10 minute tram ride from the centre of Amsterdam. It was so quaint and quiet, but with plenty of little bars and restaurants in the surrounding areas. We didn't spend that much time in the hotel it's self as it was only a few minutes away from the centre, we were mostly out exploring Amsterdam.

Amsterdam its self if a lovely city with all the quint shops, canals and various things to do. It's very compact so its quite easy to get to where ever you need to be either on foot which we did mostly or by tram or even by bike which seemed to be how every one got around. They all have old fashioned styled bikes, i loved it!

We had a few things we wanted to do in mind before we went and one was the Anne Frank house. We wanted to book online before hand but we just couldn't get the tickets so we decided to go as soon as it opened at 9 and we were in there by half past so if you can't get tickets before hand I'd say definitely try and go as soon as it opens. The exhibition is superb, It's certainly very moving and its hard not to get caught up with emotion of her story and how horrendous it would of been for her and her family.

We also went to the ice bar in Amsterdam and oh boy it was a chilling experience, i was not dressed for the occasion as it was so hot all week there that I didn't even think to dress warm for it! After the ice bar we had booked a pizza canal cruise, it was so lovely and a chilled way to see the city during the evening.

After spending the week there, I have to say that I love Amsterdam its by far one of my favourite cities, it has so much to offer. I'd definitely go back again!

Here are a few pictures from our trip!

The View from our room!

 Cocktails in the ice bar.

Trying not to think about how unbelievable cold it is!

Little stop at a place called Grass-hopper which is right near the centre.

Hope you all have a great day!

Denim Pinafore

Hello lovelies!

It's finally turned autumn and I must admit this is my favourite time of year! As much as summer is great I love fall fashion so much more as you can experiment with textures and layers and the autumnal dark colours. I picked up this denim pinafore about spring time and didn't seem to wear it that much but over the last few weeks I have worn it to death. I love teaming this with shirts or in this case a stripped top, black tights and some chunky boots!

What's you favourite thing about fall?

I shall have some pictures and a post  up in a few days of  my little trip to Amsterdam last week!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Leopard print

Hello!

I'm not one for leopard print it's always been a print I've been scared to wear, but whilst I was browsing though the ASOS sale last week I spotted this beauty and fell In love. Midi dresses are by far my favourite, so with the high neck and low scoop back on this one I couldn't really say no! I'm surprised how much I love this, turns out a bit of leopard print never hurt. This fits like a glove, it goes in at the waist and slightly flares out to give me some shape. I've teamed it with my leather jacket, Chelsea boots and a big black bag. I shall definitely be taking this to Amsterdam in a weeks time! Eek!

And oh my they are lovely! I love monochrome and have a new found love for joggers and these two paired together are just perfection!

Hope you've all had a lovely day!

Feeling Dotty

Hello  my lovelies,

Just a quick little post today as I've got a list of things to get done this afternoon! Last Sunday it was
Josh's birthday so we went down to London and had a lovely meal and night out with his friends, and as I was going straight from work I needed something that was easy to chuck on and look kind of put together. So I decided to go for this chiffon dotted blouse from H&M which was a bargainuss
£14.99! My high waisted jeans from primark and my well loved Chelsea boots from ASOS.  It's a very simple outfit but I love it and teamed with a red lip you can't really go wrong!

I hope you all have had a lovely day! (:

Update: New Hair

Hello!

In My last post I said I had gotten my hair cut and well this is the new do! It had been a long time coming, my hair had gotten into such a state that it was just looking so unhealthy. I decided to take the plunge and get quite a lot cut off the ends, I went in there with an idea of wanting it to just hit my collar bone and my hair dresser did such a lovely job I just love it!! I would definitely recommend if you're in the Norwich area to try out Barnett and figs, Such a lovely salon with such lovely stylist!

Hope you've all had a lovely day!

White Midi Skirt

Hello my lovelies,

Where have these weeks gone?! time seems to be flying lately which has left me no free time to blog. But I have the afternoon off so hopefully I can get a few post done (:

I picked up this white midi skirt from Primark in April for my holiday in may which I didn't actually wear! For some reason I find it hard to wear white on my bottom half so was struggling with what to team it with. So the other day I decided to try it with my denim shirt and it works quick nicely, the skirt has a lovely spotted print all over it which adds a little bit more detail to the outfit. To add a pop of colour I wore my beloved lemon topshop bag!

I decided to get my hair cut the other day so I shall show you all my new hair in the next post!

If you have any suggestions on what I can wear with this lovely skirt please to let me know!

Hope you've all had a wonderful day! (:

Stripy tee and Joggers

Hello!

After my last post on how Ashley Madekwe styled black leather joggers I decided to give them a try myself. So I picked these black chiffon joggers up from work for £15 In the sale, which is a complete bargain! They have a nice satin strip down the outside legs which adds a bit more detail to them. I love these they're so comfy, I have no idea why I didn't invest in some joggers before! I'm still a bit unsure with what to wear with these so if you have any pointers please let me know (:
I teamed them with this cropped stripy boxy tee and my new cut out boots I nabbed in the asos sale.

Hope you've all had a lovely day out enjoying the sunshine (:

Style Inspiration- Ashley Madekwe

             Image from ring my bell

Hello!

Its been a little while! I decided to take a bit of time out for a few weeks to revise and prepare for my exam last week and also rest up as I pulled my back out whilst at work which was insanely painful but I am back and on the mend with no more maths to do, yay!

Whilst I was off I was thinking of some different post to do on here and I came up with the idea of doing some style posts of people who's fashion sense I just love and try to recreate them with pieces I like.

So this is the first instalment of this style inspiration  posts, and this week its the lovely Ashley Madekwe.
I'm pretty sure most know who she is and oh my her style is just on point! I love how effortless and chic she makes an outfit.

When I saw her post from the a few weeks ago with these leather look joggers with a simple white cami and a vibrant lip I just loved this, I've not tried the joggers trend but seeing how Ashley has put them together I shall have to give them a try!

Hope you all have a lovely day (:

A little look at my day #12

Some exciting news to share with you all, as I said in my last post that me and josh were looking at   going somewhere for my 21st in September and we've decided to go to Amsterdam!! Eeek, I'm so excited! I've never been to Amsterdam and after our little stop at the airport there before we got our flight to Italy I've been really keen to go and explore! So if you've got any idea of where to go or see there please let me know (:

Hope you've all had a lovely day

geometric pattern shorts

Hello my lovelies,

What a lovely day it is!

I know I'm wearing the same white shirt as usually but its a staple, can never go wrong with a white shirt in my eyes! I decided to team it with these shorts I bought for my holiday from h&m but never ended up wearing.. oopsy. I'm trying to wear more of my wardrobe as I'm trying to be good and save some money for a holiday for my 21st in September! Eeek!

I really like these shorts the geometric print is what really caught my eye as it adds a bit more detail to the look and feels more put together than just a plain pair of shorts. They're are also quite a nice length as they aren't insanely short so every thing isn't on show, for me and my long legs that's always a winner!

I added my beloved yellow bag to bring a bit of colour back into the outfit.

Hope you're all having a loving day and enjoying this lush weather!

Weekly Wish List #5 Boohoo

On my last wish list post, the lovely Hayley from water painted dreams suggested I take a look at boohoo for printed trousers.. However I kind of got distract by these lovely things I found on there! I haven't looked on boohoo for such a long time so was pleasantly surprised when I spotted all these. I love this little white top it's so pretty with the lace detailing on the bottom and teamed with these ripped jeans, it's the perfect summer outfit. Lets just take a minute to admire this necklace, it's Gorgeous. I love pastel colours and statement necklaces so both all wrapped into one what more could I want! I love black bags, they are just a classic for me and this little back pack is so ideal and versatile it would be perfect for everyday or for a festival!

Which item is your favourite?

Hope you've all have a lovely weekend!

A Little Look At My Day #10

The other day before my maths class i popped into tesco to get a magazine as I was a tad bit early, and I spotted the beautiful Alexa Chung on the front cover of glamour so of course I had to buy it. It also came with a free eyeko eye liner. I've heard so much about this so was excited to try it, I gave it ago yesterday and I'm soo disappointed mine seemed really dry and just seemed to drag along my eye. My search for the best eyeliner continues on!

Hope you've all had a lovely day!

A Pop of Pink

Hello my lovelies,

Last night me and me sister went to see maleficent and oh my it was so good, I've become a little smitten with Angelina Jolie I just cant get over how gorgeous she looked and how well she played the role. Can I have cheek bones and lips like her please?!

I decided to wear my new jeans I picked up in the topshop sale, these are the jamie jeans and they are so damn comfy! They're ever so slightly high wasted which makes them really flattering and they are an ankle grazer which I do love in my jeans. I teamed them with my beloved Chelsea boots from asos, and a crisp white shirt. To add a bit of colour I decided to use this lovely fuchsia pink bag from h&m which I got for the wedding in Florence as it hasn't seen the light of day since. I think the little pop of colour brought the whole outfit together.

Hope you all have a lovely day

A Little look at my day #9

Tonight me and my sister went to see maleficent, and oh my its was soo good! I think I like this version more than the original sleeping beauty even as good as that was this went in to so much more detail and I loved how they portrayed maleficent's side of the story, its definitely worth going to see in my eyes! I cant get over how amazing Angelina Jolie looked, she is just perfection!

Weekly Wish List #4 Pattern trousers

Hello lovelies,

From my last outfit post I said I really wanted some more pattern trousers so I've been browsing online over the last few days and here are the ones I'm loving!

This first pair of trousers are so pretty I just love the print on these especially the blue pink/ green tones which are ideal for summer. As you can see these last three are black and white, but I think they would all be perfect with a crisp white shirt and maybe a red or pink lip to add a pop of colour to the outfit.

Which ones are your favourite?

Hope you all have a wonderful day (:

A Little Look At My Day #8

Today's photo isn't exactly one I've taken as today I've spent most of it in bed not feeling great, I have been suffering with really bad migraines lately to a point where its just so painful to keep my eyes open. But I saw this whilst scrolling through pinterest this evening which made me chuckle and gave perspective on a few things going on in my life, sometimes all you need is an impromptu solo dance and a cuppa tea!

Hope you've all had a lovely day!

A little look at my day #7

Today was the first Sunday I've had off in a long time so I took full advantage and enjoyed a lazy Sunday with josh. I decided to bake a lemon tart as ever since I had one at liberty's a few months ago I've been eager to make one myself and i must say it was rather tasty (:

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!

And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon-tree

Hello Lovelies,

I've had such trouble with blogger the past few days it just hasn't seem to be working on my laptop or ipad but I'm hoping it shall be all okay now!

This outfit was from last Friday when I went to Middletons with Josh. I've been loving these pattern trousers again, I hadn't worn them in such a long time so when I found them tucked away I instantly whipped them out and teamed them with this lovely lemon cami top from primark which was a complete bargain at just £4!! I sized up a few sizes when I bought this so it fits really loose and floaty and as the trousers are quite tailored I think they complement each other quite well. I am loving this lemon colour this year it just seems brightens up and gives a bit of life to a simple outfit it also helps you look tanned which i love.

Hope you've all have a wonderful day (:
